Terms
Comparison, not ticketing.
TheWingScan compares provider-reported flight offers and supplies trip-planning tools. An airline or travel partner—not TheWingScan—sells and manages any ticket you choose to buy.

1. Acceptance and eligibility
By using TheWingScan you accept these terms and our Privacy policy. Account holders must be at least 13. If you provide a child’s passenger details, you must be authorised to do so for that trip.
2. Our role
TheWingScan does not sell tickets, collect payment details, issue itineraries, or process booking changes or refunds. Search, comparison, and offer revalidation happen here. When you select a booking link, you leave TheWingScan and enter a separate relationship with that provider under its fare rules, terms, and privacy policy.
3. Provider-reported fares
Fares, schedules, availability, baggage text, and booking links come from the flight-data provider and can change. TheWingScan rechecks a selected offer before handoff and asks you to accept a price change when one is reported.
Ignav’s public contract does not establish whether every displayed amount includes all taxes and fees or represents one passenger or the full party. Treat every amount as a provider-reported fare and confirm the final itinerary, passenger coverage, baggage, and payable total on the booking page.
4. Accounts and profiles
- Keep sign-in credentials and verification links secure.
- Provide information you are authorised to use and do not impersonate another person.
- Public-profile visibility is optional and off by default.
- You can delete your account from Profile.
5. Acceptable use
Do not:
- probe or disrupt the service or attempt to bypass authentication and ownership checks;
- scrape or automate the product outside its ordinary search and planning flows;
- reverse-engineer provider integration or evade provider-budget controls;
- use profiles, messages, shared trips, or passenger links for spam, abuse, or unlawful content;
- publish another person’s private information without authority.
6. Saved searches and fare alerts
An account can hold up to 20 saved searches. Fare alerts are route-, date-, and target-specific and are informational only: they do not reserve a seat or guarantee a price. You can pause or delete alerts and delete saved searches from your account.
7. Direct messages
Direct messages are for communication between authenticated conversation participants. Do not use them for unsolicited, deceptive, abusive, or unlawful content. The current product does not offer a control that deletes a conversation for every participant.
8. Shared trips
A shared trip is opened through a generated bearer link. Anyone who has the link can view its route and fare options, cast an up/down/book vote, and post trip chat; signed-in users can join it in their inbox. The creator can end the trip.
Trip access expires after 30 days or after four hours without activity, whichever happens first. Keep the link within the intended group. TheWingScan may disable content or access that violates these terms.
9. Co-passenger manifests
An authenticated organiser can create a public bearer link so fellow travellers can submit their own name, optional date of birth, preferences, contact fields where supported, and an optional government ID. Anyone with the link can choose and submit a passenger slot, so it must be shared only with intended recipients. The link stops accepting submissions after 30 days or when closed.
Government-ID values are encrypted at rest. The organiser’s authenticated status view receives a masked value, and the clipboard bundle contains names and dates of birth only. Enter any ID required for booking directly with the booking provider.
10. User content
You retain rights in profile text, messages, trip chat, and other content you submit. You give TheWingScan the limited permission needed to store and display it within the relevant feature. You are responsible for that content and for having permission to share it.
11. Service availability
Search providers, caches, databases, email, maps, and enrichment services can be delayed or unavailable. The product exposes retry, empty, expired, and error states, but continuous availability is not guaranteed. Features can be changed or withdrawn when required for security, provider limits, or product maintenance.
12. Intellectual property
TheWingScan’s branding and software are owned by us or our licensors. You may use the product for personal trip planning. You may not copy the branding, resell the service, or republish provider results as your own commercial product without permission.
13. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Third-party fare and destination data can be incomplete or stale. The booking provider is responsible for the transaction and booking services it supplies.
To the extent permitted by law, TheWingScan is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of the service or a third-party booking provider. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the product or delete your account. We can restrict access when needed to address abuse, security incidents, legal requirements, or material violations of these terms.
15. Changes, governing law, and contact
We will revise the date above when these terms change. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts at our place of operation in India, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
